With a career spanning over 25 years, Raymond has explored and excelled in all areas of the craft, both in salon, on stage, runway, celebrity, editorial and business.

He has represented Australasia’s leading salons and brands in education such as Wella, Schwarzkopf, L’Oréal, Shu Uemura and GHD presenting cutting, colouring and styling seminar workshops throughout Australia, Europe and China.

During his editorial career, Raymond has been represented by Australia’s leading photographic agencies directing hair for editorial shoots, advertising campaigns, runway and celebrity assignments both here and abroad.

With editorial and advertising clients ranging from Italian and British Grazia, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Mont Blanc, fashion designers Gorman, Sass & Bide to Supermodels Kylie Bax, Miranda Kerr, Actresses Miranda Otto, Rachel Griffith to Music Icons Brian Ferry, Destiny’s Child (Kelly Rowland) and Cheryl Cole. Raymond also travels regularly to Paris and London to work behind the scenes on the world’s leading runway teams for Chanel, Kenzo and Prada. From his success in the freelance world, Raymond decided to open his own boutique salon in Sydney, Australia to give his clientele a truly personal and unique level of hair salon experience. 

The next progression was to take this knowledge and experience to a larger salon group which led Raymond to relocate from Sydney to Auckland, New Zealand to take up a position with New Zealand’s most reputable and long-standing salon group. With 5 salons and an International Academy as a Creative Director for the brand, he created all brand imagery, major campaigns, advertising material, directed teams for runway shows and produced editorial work in major national and international fashion magazines.

Most recently Raymond has travelled to Europe and China’s largest international industry events where he presented and collaborated on seminars and workshops alongside the best from Europe, China, Japan and Korea. Raymond is now based in Sydney and is focusing his energies on Australia and the global market to keep his craft evolving.
